Lingbo Kong is now assistant professor of School of Software Engineering at Beijing JiaoTong University. His research interests evolved accordingly. The study for Ph.D degree is mainly in the fields of database and information systems. After that, I want to do some research more interesting, particularly in developing techniques for efficiently processing the new data type derived from real applications, such as XML data retrieval, Multimedia retrieval (La V.I.T.A) and bioinformatics data. And subseqtently I also dived into the regime of Data Analytics (Data Mining, Machine Learning etc.).

And thereafter, my teaching experience is a llittle ambitious - you can check from the following teaching list. Since I like teaching, I spend a lot to reform the courses so as to help students to improve their capability. For instance, I focus more on the design and implementation of (R)DBMS in "(R)DBMS Practice" course. While I try hard to provide students a big picture understanding about Data Analytics, which covers Optimization, Review of Statistics, and Reorganization of Machine Learning algorithms.
